Wochit, a NYC-based provider of a video creation platform, raised $11m in new funding.
The round was led by Marker LLC with participation from existing investors Cedar Fund, Greycroft Partners, and Redpoint Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its business to more brands, publishers and multi-channel networks.
Led by co-founder and CEO Dror Ginzberg and CTO Ran Oz, Wochit provides a cloud based platform that enables brands and storytellers to scale branded, studio-quality video production.
Clients include major newspapers and magazines, across new media and brands.
