Travel site TripAdvisor, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRIP) acquired Vacation Home Rentals, a Massachusetts-based vacation rentals website.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
This is the second acquisition for the TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals group in the last year.
In May 2013, it had acquired Niumba, a vacation rentals website in Spain, and now features more than 550,000 rental properties around the world.
Led by Tom Gilmore, VacationHomeRentals.com is a vacation rental site in North America representing more than 14,000 properties in all 50 states and in 89 countries.
