Powderhook, a Lincoln, NE-based platform that connects people with places to hunt and fish, raised $650k in convertible seed funding.
The round was led by The Nebraska Angels.
The company intends to use the funds to hire software developers and validate the platform.
Led by CEO Eric Dinger and Heath Roehr, Powderhook provides a free web and mobile service that connects outdoorsmen with quality hunting and fishing spots. The platform boasts hunting and fishing locations in every state and 12 countries. In total over 265,000 spots and 550 million acres are available to outdoorsmen through the site.
