MobileHelp Receives Investment from Stonehenge Growth Equity Partners

mobilehelpMobileHelp, a Boca Raton, Florida-based provider of a mobile medical alert system, received an investment from Stonehenge Growth Equity Partners.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the proceeds to grow the business, particularly in the area of Healthcare IT.

Led by Robert Flippo, CEO, MobileHelp provides a mobile medical alert system that has attained FDA registration.
The company, which services clients in all 50 states, develops and distributes:
– Cellular DUO, a fully integrated medical alert system with GSM/GPS technology which provides an in-home cellular base station and a mobile device to protect customers away from home; and
– Cellular Classic system, an in-home cellular based Medical Alert System.

These devices are integrated with nationwide wireless voice, data and GPS technology to provide real-time medical monitoring services and location tracking for expedited personal emergency assistance.

MobileHelp also offers Fall Button™, an automatic fall detection pendant and MobileHelp Connect™, an event notification and web portal for customers, families and caregivers.
