LeadiD Raises $7M in Series A Funding

leadidLeadiD, an Ambler, PA-based arbiter of lead transactions, raised $7m in Series A funding.

Backers included Comcast Ventures and Tribeca Venture Partners, with participation from Genacast Ventures.

The company, which has now raised $9.7m, intends to use the funds to grow its team and further strengthen its lead authentication technology for both buyers and sellers.

Founded in January 2011 by Ross Shanken, CEO, LeadiD LeadiD provides an independent, neutral, open technology platform that enables the tracking of origin and history for every lead-generation event online. The technology allows lead sellers and buyers to make real-time decisions based upon definitive origin and history flags that are predetermined by platform users.
It has already generated more than one billion unique LeadiDs for 350 clients, including major brands throughout the education, mortgage, insurance and automotive verticals.
Clients include Urban Science, eFinancial, Consumer United, and dozens of other brand advertisers.
