LanternCRM Raises $250K in Funding

Lantern LogoLanternCRM, an Austin, Texas-based provider of a customer relationship management (CRM) solution, raised $250k in funding.

Backers included from angel investors Jason Cohen of WP Engine, Rob Taylor of Black Locus, Mikey Trafton of BlueFish, Bill Boebel of Pingboard, Pat Matthews formerly of Rackspace, and Joshua Baer of OtherInbox and the Capital Factory Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to scale the team.

Led by David Weiser, COO, and Alex Smith, CEO, LanternCRM provides small businesses with software to communicate effectively with their customers via calls, emails, support tickets. Features include automatic email tracking, phone service, and integration with existing business services.
