Jobaline.com Completes $7M Series B Funding

Jobaline.com, a Kirkland, Washington-based mobile and bilingual hourly-jobs marketplace, completed a $7.0m Series B funding.

The round was led by Trilogy Equity Partners, with participation from existing investors Madrona Venture Group and Rudy Gadre and new investor Founders Co-op. In conjunction with the funding, Mikal Thomsen, Co-founder and Partner at Trilogy Equity Partners , and former President and COO at Western Wireless Corporation, joined Jobaline.com’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its national reach by expanding the sales nationwide and enhancing the engineering center in Kirkland, Washington.

Led by co-founder and CEO Luis J. Salazar, Jobaline.com allows mid- to large-size employers to find qualified hourly workers via a candidate-matching technology that enables mobile-first recruiting, including automated phone pre-screening. Launched in the summer of 2013 in the Bay Area, Miami, and Seattle, Jobaline has already processed more than 400,000 job applications in these pilot markets.
Initial customers include hundreds of hotels, fast food franchises, construction and manufacturing staffing agencies, large retailers and leading wireless carriers.
