Formabilio srl, a Cison di Valmarino, Treviso, Italy-based furniture online retailer, raised a round of funding of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Innogest with participation from Withfounders.
The company intends to use the funds to grow the community, and expand its sales and internationalization efforts.
Led by Andrea Carbone, CEO, and Maria Grazia Andali, Formabilio operates a Made in Italy design furniture online platform which allows designers share their ideas, consumers to comment and vote, and 100% Italian manufacturers to build the winning designs. An important feature of the company it what they consider the ethichal value and to this end they choose the partner companies, the projects to manufacture and the materials to use.
To date, over 2.350 designers have delivered more than 5.500 furniture projects in 31 contests launched on the platform.
The community has over 95.000 members.
