ESTmob Closes $1M in Seed Funding

send anywhereESTmob, a Seoul, Korea-based provider of a cross-platform file-sharing service, closed $1m in seed funding.

The round was led by Rakuten Ventures, with participation from Andrew McGlinchey, Andy Warner and 2 Korean angels.

Founded in 2012 by Yoonsik Oh (CEO), Kyeongho Lee, Haeil Park and Suhyuk Kang, as a spin off from ESTsoft, ESTmob is the company behind Send Anywhere, a cross-platform file sharing service, which allows users to share digital content peer-to-peer in real-time, without saving to a cloud storage pairing between two devices (sending and receiving) with a temporary generated key confirmation.
The service, which requires no registration or login, is available for free online service and mobile app on both Android and iOS.
