Chupamobile, a London, UK-based marketplace for iOS and Android app source code, raised more than £696k in an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube (have a look at it here).
148 backers have invested in the company taking approximately 16% stake in total.
The company now intends to use the funds to hire new people (from 7 to 20 people), build new platform features, accelerate penetration into the US and other key geographical markets, and improve its marketing and distribution efforts.
Led by CEO Stefano Argiolas, Paolo De Santis, EVP, and Fabio Pezzotti, Executive Chairman, Chupamobile is a marketplace that allows everybody to buy professional apps and games, ready to be customized and distributed on the App Stores.
