AudienceView, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of an e-commerce software for events and entertainment organizations, closed a new equity financing.
The round, whose amount was not disclosed, was led by Five Corners Capital, which manages the Ventures West 8 Limited Partnership fund, with participation from existing shareholders and new investors.
The company intends to use the capital to fund its transition to the cloud.
Founded in 2002 and led by Mark Fowlie, CEO, AudienceView provides an e-commerce platform, through which organizations and individuals can manage their own branded online store to drive ticketing, fundraising and related e-commerce offerings from large venues and festivals to individuals and campus event planners.
It is used by more than 550 venues in 15 countries.
