Freedom Healthcare of America, d/b/a Addiction Campuses of America, a Brentwood, Tenn.-based platform for acquiring and managing behavioral health programs throughout the U.S., raised $3.8m in Series A funding round.
The round was led by Fulcrum Equity Partners with participation from Harpeth Ventures.
In conjunction with the funding, the company also acquired Turning Point Recovery, a North Mississippi and Memphis, Tennessee, area provider of addiction treatment and behavioral health services, and Spring2Life, a Murfreesboro, Tennessee, provider of addiction, recovery and behavioral services with a spiritual focus.
Addiction Campuses now plans to integrate the two newly acquired programs while also pursuing additional growth through other targeted acquisitions.
Founded by Brent Clements, Addiction Campuses of America owns, operates and manages behavioral healthcare campuses across the United States providing, through a blend of spiritual and clinical resources, a treatment experience for addicts and families.
