Adcade, a New York-based developer of an ad building platform, raised $5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Polaris Partners with participation from ff Venture Capital and Quotidian Ventures.
The $company intends to se the funds to expand technology, operations and sales & marketing.
Led by Rob Cromer, CEO, Adcade has just launched its HTML5, cross-screen, ad-building platform and coding language (AdScript℠) built for digital advertising. Its custom Canvas-based framework can replicate any and all animations that can be done in Flash while simultaneously tapping into the native device functionalities of smartphones, tablets, digital TV and any connected device.
The company has 30 employees.
