Sprinklr, a New York City-based provider of an enterprise social relationship platform, raised $40m in Series D funding.
The round was led by ICONIQ Capital, with participation from Battery Ventures and Intel Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to grow operations.
Founded in 2009 and led by Ragy Thomas, CEO, Sprinklr provides brands with an enterprise social relationship platform to manage the social customer experience across their internal silos- teams, departments, divisions and locations.
The company has also announced the launch of an integrated paid social media capability, which enables brands and their agencies to plan, execute, measure and optimize their Facebook and Twitter paid social activities in the same environment as their owned and earned engagement.
The module is expected to be generally available to all clients in six weeks.
Sprinklr, which is hiring in New York, Austin, Delhi, Bangalore or Kiev offices, now serves more than 450 brands worldwide including Microsoft, Intel, Virgin America, IHG, and 4 top US banks.
