Omada Health Closes $23M Series B Financing

Omada_logoOmada Health, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of digital therapeutics, closed a $23m Series B financing.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Kaiser Permanente Ventures and existing investors including U.S. Venture Partners and The Vertical Group. In conjunction with the funding, Andreessen Horowitz general partner, Balaji S. Srinivasan, will join Omada Health’s board of directors.

Led by Sean Duffy, CEO and co-founder, Omada Health provides Prevent, an online diabetes prevention program for employees and the general public, based on the CDC’s National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP).
The 16-week online Prevent program is based on behavioral change science and integrate into everyday life. It is guided by dedicated health coaches and community social support, people monitoring their progress in real-time, and offering 24/7 feedback.
Customers include major organizations, integrated delivery networks and health plans such as Kaiser Permanente, Blue Cross Blue Shield Louisiana, and Stanford Hospital & Clinics.
