HeiaHeia, a Helsinki, Finland-based corporate social wellness service, raised €1.5m in funding.
The round was led by Wallstreet Financial Services with participation from Tekes, The Finnish Funding Agency For Innovation.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into key markets – USA, UK, Northern Europe and hire new people to continue to develop its wellness SaaS platform.
Led by CEO Jussi Raisanen and Head of Product Olli Oksanen, HeiaHeia provides a corporate social wellness service that encourages employees across organizations to improve wellness, incentivize them and build team morale.
The platform is now adopted by hundreds of companies around the world including small and medium sized businesses as well as large organizations, including Johnson&Johnson, PepsiCo, Ricoh, Toshiba, Santander and more.
The company has also created an active network of partnerships with insurance companies and wellness coaching companies in several countries, which promote the platform to their customers.
HeiaHeia also has business operations in the USA, the UK, and Sweden.
