elicit Raises Additional $525K Funding from Chicago Ventures

elicit_logoelicit, a Chicago, Illinois-based SaaS company that designs technology to help marketers improve on-site search conversion, raised an additional $525k funding from Chicago Ventures.

This added to a previous close at $1.5m (read here).

The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing and sales efforts.

Led by Eric Heneghan and Adam Heneghan, elicit provides marketers with a platform to increase conversion rates and effectiveness of on-site search through the combination of algorithmic and curated search results.
It works directly with brands (including Xerox, Whirlpool, Goodyear, Time Warner Cable, KitchenAid, Bank of America, Maytag, CME Group, BlackBerry, GGP, Huggies and Dunlop) and partners with agencies to ensure that media ends at conversion.
