Better Raises $5M in Seed Funding

According to TechCrunch, betterBetter, a Palo Alto, CA-based personal health assistant service, raised $5m in seed funding.

Backers included Social+Capital Partnership and The Mayo Clinic.

Founded by Geoff Clapp and investor Chamath Palihapitiya, Better has just launched an iOS app that delivers medical information to users after that they providing information about themselves (gender, blood type and allergies) family members and others.
It works as a personal health assistant that stores medical data, answers questions and schedule medical appointments.

The platform complies with all Health Information Personal Privacy (HIPAA) standards concerning privacy.
