Bass Manager Raises $250K in Seed Funding

BASS MANAGER LOGOBass Manager, a Bridgeville, PA-based developer of an online application for professional and amateur fishermen, raised $250k in seed funding.

The Pennsylvania-based technology firm P.G. Media provided the funding and acquired ownership of the application.

The company intends to use the funds to increase the adoption of the app.

Launched in March 2013, Bass Manager features an online journal for anglers to record and track their bass fishing catches and fishing adventures. Built in the cloud, it can be used on a desktop computer, smartphone or tablet to study and analyze important data. The app saves specific information on a user’s lures and catches, offers analytics on fishing patterns and tips for improvement based on possible areas of weakness.
As a result, the company has removed the $9.99 cost to join Bass Manager, now offering the application for free through the website BassManager.com.
