AppsBuilder Raises $1.5M in Funding

appsbuilderAppsBuilder, a Milan, Italy-based mobile publishing and distribution platform, raised $1.5m in funding.

Italian venture capital firm United Ventures made the investment.

The company, which has now raised a total of $3.5m, intends to use the funds to consolidate growth and business traction in both UK and US markets focusing on hiring new people to make the product more competitive.

Founded in 2011 by Daniele Pelleri, CEO, AppsBuilder provides a platform to create, edit and distribute mobile apps compatible with major devices currently available on the mobile market (iPhone/iPod, iPad, Android smartphone and tablet, Windows Phone 7.5 and 8 and BlackBerry 10) as well as HTML5 Web Apps (mobile site).
The solution features tools for mobile couponing and in-app loyalty cards, push notifications and promotional pop-ups, geolocalized couponing and in-app forms to gather users’ feedback, and advanced analytics to track apps’ ratings and overall usage trends.
