Aplos Software LLC, a Fresno, California-based provider of SaaS solutions for the nonprofit sector, raised $2m in financing.
The company, which has raised a total of $3.4m, intends to use the funds to expand the software suite, to open it to API integration, and to extend its support and marketing teams.
Founded in 2009 by Tim Goetz, co-founder, Aplos Software provides web-based software that allows small and mid-sized nonprofits with to manage their activities. Its suite includes:
– Aplos Accounting, a fund accounting solution;
– Aplos Donor Management, online donation and donor management solution;
– Aplos e-File, an IRS return and submission solution; and
– Aplos Oversight, a management solution for accountants or administrators to oversee the finances of multiple nonprofits or churches.
Since the release of its web-based software in 2011, the company has served over 10,000 organizations.
