VeryLastRoom, a Marseille, France-based provider of a hotel booking app, raised $2.1m in funding.
The round was led by A Plus Finance, Extend Capital and Sigma Gestion.
The company intends to use the funds to double its team size (now of 8 people) in the next 3 months.
Founded by Nicolas Salin & Sebastien Houzé in late 2011 and launched in June 2012, VeryLastRoom provides a booking app which offers same-day hotel deals in France and Spain leveraging price drops in real-time all day long.
The company, which currently partners with more than 1200 hotels directly, targets 1,000,000 downloads by the end of 2014.
It had raised 550k in angel funding in 2013.
