MuleSoft Raises $50M

mulesoftMuleSoft, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an integration platform for SaaS, SOA and APIs, raised $50m in funding.

The round was led by existing investors New Enterprise Associates and Lightspeed Venture Partners as well as new investor Meritech Capital Partners. with participation from Cisco as a new investor and salesforce.com, SAP Ventures, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures and Bay Partners as returning investors.

The company, which has now raised $131m, intends to use the funds to accelerate its global growth.

Led by Greg Schott, president and CEO, MuleSoft provides a solution, the Anypoint™ Platform, to eliminate the pain and cost of point-to-point integration, unifying business processes across applications, data sources and APIs, on-premises or in the cloud.
It is used by 150,000 developers at thousands of companies, across healthcare, financial services, insurance, retail, government, media and telecommunications in 54 countries.

The company, which has more than 290 employees worldwide, is continuing to hire people (read here).
