Hired Raises $15M in Series A Financing

hiredHired, a San Francisco, CA-based marketplace that connects tech professionals with companies, raised $15m in Series A financing.

The round was led by Crosslink Capital and Sierra Ventures with participation from SoftTech VC and Sherpa Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its service offerings and expand geographically.

Led by Matt Mickiewicz, CEO, and Doug Feirstein, Hired enables engineers, designers, product managers and data Scientists to conduct a job search on their terms and pairs each candidate with a “Talent Advocate” to represent his/her interests and help answer any questions along the way.
The typical candidate on Hired receives 10-15 offers in 7 days, after which their profile is removed and no longer accessible to employers. They can choose as many, or as few companies to interview with as they like, with Hired offering an additional $2000 signing bonus if they accept a job through the marketplace.
Employers can browse profiles, ask questions, and request interviews.
