ConnXus Closes $1.7M Seed Funding

ConnXus, a Mason, OH-based provider of a platform to connect minority and women-owned suppliers with large corporations, closed a $1.7m seed funding.

The round was led by CincyTech with participation from New York-based Serious Change LP, STAR Angel Network and several individual angel investors. The Innovation Ohio Loan Fund provided $500k.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its sales and marketing, speed product development and grow operations.

Led by Rod Robinson, Founder, President & CEO, connXus.com provides an online service that connects diverse and small businesses with companies seeking to expand and diversify their supplier base.
Customers include Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s Corp., Harley-Davidson and Caesars Entertainment.
