ComputeNext Raises $4M in Funding

computenextComputeNext, a Bellevue, WA-based global cloud marketplace, raised $4m in funding.

A global network of angel investors provided the funds, which will be used for sales and marketing efforts.

Led by Sundar Kannan, CEO and founder, ComputeNext operates a cloud marketplace featuring cloud infrastructure-as-a-service providers from around the world. It offers global locations as well as normalized API access to the majority of cloud providers and platforms available today, whether custom-built, licensed or open source.
The company, which has been in stealth mode for the past three-and-a-half years, has been developing the back-end of their e-commerce platform which supports a variety of customer use cases, such as deployment of IaaS for IT infrastructure as well as the deployment of a variety of on-demand service and software solutions from strategic ISV partners.

The funding is part of a larger $10m round ComputeNext is raising.
