TrackMaven Raises $6.5M Series A Funding

trackmavenTrackMaven, a Washington, DC-based digital marketing company, raised a $6.5m Series A funding.

The round was led by New Enterprise Associates with participation from existing investors Bowery Capital and Acceleprise Ventures. As part of the funding, Harry Weller, a general partner at NEA, joined TrackMaven’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the product, sales and marketing teams.

Founded by CEO Allen Gannett, TrackMaven provides marketers with a platform to uncover topics, tactics, and marketing channels that are working with their competitors’ audience, their digital marketing. It currently offers data and insights from 15 different marketing channels across paid, owned, and earned media (News/PR, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Site Traffic, SEO/Organic Search, Display Advertising, Text Advertising, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
Clients include brands like Eddie Bauer, Aol, Computer Sciences Corporation, etc.

The company, which had raised $1.25m in a round led by AOL Ventures in 2013 (read here) is hiring.
