PubMatic, a Redwood City, CA-based programmatic advertising platform company, raised $13m in funding.
The round was led by Nokia Growth Partners (NGP), which joined August Capital, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Helion Ventures, and Nexus Venture Partners.
Led by Rajeev Goel, Co-Founder and CEO, PubMatic provides a programmatic advertising platform across mobile, display and video. Its platform, proprietary technology and advanced mobile capabilities allow online auctions for the buying and selling of media through Real-Time Bidding (RTB) and Private Marketplace (PMP).
In the words of Goel, the investment aims to enhance its direct market access by plugging into the global NGP and Nokia presence.
