Lemoptix, a Lausanne, Switzerland-based provider of MEMS-based micro-projection solutions for embedded applications in the consumer mobile and automotive markets, raised a funding round of undisclosed amount.
Backers included Swisscom Ventures and various existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to enlarge its offering to the automotive head up displays (HUD), consumer mobile and wearable displays markets.
Led by Marco Boella, Chief Executive Officer, Lemoptix provides micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) based micro-projection solutions for embedded applications in consumer mobile and automotive markets. Product include automotive head up displays (HUD), embedded projectors in smartphones and low power wearable displays.
