HackerEarth, a Bangalore, India-based provider of technical recruiting solutions for talent sourcing and skill assessment, raised $500k in funding.
Backers included Angelprime and GSF Superangels.
The company intends to use the funds to scale the team.
Founded by Sachin Gupta and Vivek Prakash in late 2012, HackerEarth provides technology companies with solutions to improve the process of hiring quality programmers by combining a community of candidates and proprietary learning algorithms, which help identify and determine the best fit between a candidate and the opportunity.
