Craft Dragon Limited, a Stoke-on-Trent, UK-based developer of a machine for the crafts and hobbies market, raised a funding round of undisclosed amount.
Backers included venture capital firm Midven and a number of private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand sales in the UK, USA and Germany.
Formed in 2009, Craft Dragon manufactures the ImPress (patent granted), a lightweight, portable craft tool device invented by hobby crafter Jayne Nash. The company, led by Jason Nash, managing director, sources both skills and materials from the UK and products are all designed and manufactured by partner companies in England and Wales.
