Consilium SGR, an Italian PE investor, held the first closing of its third fund at €95m.
Backers in Consilium Private Equity Fund III, which has a final target of €150m, included Fondo Italiano di Investimento, which committed €25m, the European Investment Fund, Italian and European family offices and partners.
Founded in 2005, Consilium focuses on backing SMEs leader in niche markets and supporting them in the market consolidation, international development processes.
The firm is led by Stefano Iamoni, Antonio Glorioso and Roberto de Rossi and is based in Milan.
