Collaborative Fund Raises $33M for Second Fund

According to a blog post, New York-based venture capital firm Collaborative Fund raised $33m for its second fund.

Limited partners include former Sequoia Capital General Partner Tom McMurray and artist Shepard Fairey.

Led by Craig Shapiro, the firm focuses on supporting and investing in companies operating in two macro themes: the growth of the creative class and the collaborative economy.
Backed companies include Good Eggs, Code Academy, Task Rabbit, Hampton Creek Foods, UpCounsel, MakeSpace, etc.

In addition, Collaborative Fund added Jungju Kim as a venture partner.
