CircleCI Closes $6M Funding

circleciCircleCI, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery solutions, closed a $6m round of funding.

The round was led by DFJ. In conjunction with the funding, Bubba Murarka, DFJ, joined CircleCI’s board.

The company, which raised a seed round of $1.5m in February 2012 (read here), intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform.

Founded by CEO Paul Biggar and Allen Rohner in 2011, CircleCI provides tools and technology to automate workflows and enable developer to ship software faster.
It has been used by more than 1000 software development teams including salesforce, Cisco, Samsung, LiveNation, and BSkyB.
