Brazzlebox, a Syracuse, New York-based virtual community by, of and for small and home based businesses, secured over $1m in seed funding.
Backers remained undisclosed.
The company is using the funds to continue to develop its platform and add new people. It is expected to re-launch nationally, with enhanced proprietary technology, in June 2014, and add up to 50 community builder positions by the end of the year.
Founded by serial entrepreneur Glen Zinszer, Brazzlebox operates a social network made for small and home-based business owners, which allows users to become a member of a community with clients, fans, aspiring entrepreneurs and community stakeholders.
