Boost Communications Raises £1M in Funding

boost-communicationsBoost Communications, a Trondheim, Norway-based provider of a mobile and web advertising and marketing platform, raised £1m in funding.

Backers included Investinor and venture capital fund Norsk Innovasjonskapital (NIK).

The company intends to use the funds to expand its presence internationally.

Established in 2000 as a spin-off from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology by Oystein Skiri, CEO, Boost Communications develops software that allows large international agencies and brands to manage their advertising and marketing activities including mobile campaigns, media buying and reporting.
It owns a 75% stake in Boostcom Media, which focuses on delivering software and services for mobile campaigning works with international brands like Telenor, Etisalat, Perform Group, Manchester City Football Club and Starcom, etc.
The company, which has offices in London, Dubai and Krakow, had raised £3.7m between 2012 and 2013.
