atVenu, a Sausalito, CA-based provider of a mobile and web based application that manages all tour merchandise logistics, closed a $1.1m funding.
The round was led by Real Ventures of Montreal.
The company intends to use the funds to expand and build more features.
Co-founded by Derek Ball (CEO), atVenu provides artists annd musicians of all sizes with a real time data and analytics platform needed to manage their touring merchandise business. It features artist and venue settlements, tools to generate orders, create shipments, track in transit inventory, view warehouse inventory, and manage multiple trailer inventories, and reports (including sales, financial tour summary, net profit, inventory forecast, inventory adjustments, tour inventory returns, etc.).
The solution is currently used by 600 artists.
