Zepp Labs, a Los Gatos, Calif.-based sports technology company, secured $15m in Series B funding.
The round was led by GGV Capital with participation from Legend Capital, Bertelsmann and Cherubic Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand product offerings and hire people in different areas (read here).
Led by Jason Fass, CEO, Zepp Labs provides motion capture technology and mobile sports applications. The first apps are Zepp Baseball and Zepp Tennis, which feature a training system (motion sensor + bat mount + mobile app) that helps users analyze and improve the swing, and Zepp Golf, a 3D golf swing analyzer system for smartphone and tablet.
