Voxeet Inc., a San Francisco, California-based provider of conferencing services for business, raised $1.5m in seed funding.
The round was led by Partech Ventures, with participation from Aquiti, Kima Ventures and business angels Oleg Tscheltzoff of Fotolia and Jacques-Antoine Granjon of Vente-privee.com.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations, product development and marketing efforts.
Founded in 2009 by CEO Stephane Giraudie, Voxeet provides for small to mid-sized companies with high-quality audio conferencing solutions that reduce background noise and echo. Users can join and transfer calls from a PC, laptop or tablet to a mobile phone.
Its app can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google PLAY, and is also available for Windows PCs.
The company also has offices in Bordeaux, France.
