Telekenex, Inc., a San Francisco, California-based provider of hosted communications, security solutions and managed network/IT solutions to small and medium-sized business and enterprise customers, received an investment from Spire Capital.
Senior debt capital for the transaction was provided by Webster Bank, N.A.
The company plans to use the proceeds to expand its solutions.
Founded in 1994 by Brandon Chaney and Anthony Zabit and led by newly appointed CEO Grant Evans, Telekenex provides hosted Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP), managed access/MPLS services, security solutions and managed services. The company, which has an additional office in Seattle, WA, serves over 800 customers in the United States, which range from SMB customers to larger, multi-location enterprises in sectors including retail, financial services, technology, and healthcare, among others.
Bryan Koehler will also be joining the team as the CFO.
