Tales2Go Inc., a Bethesda, MD-based provider of audio books for early childhood programs and primary schools, raised $750k in funding.
The round was co-led by NewSchools Venture Fund and the Maryland Venture Fund (MVF), the venture arm of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development.
Led by Co-Founder and CEO William Weil, Tales2Go is a subscription service that streams audio book titles from leading publishers to desktops, laptops and mobile devices giving users instant and unlimited access.
The service ranges from individual to group use with or without physical books.
The company offers piloting opportunities as well as monthly and annual subscription plans.
