Skybox Security, a San Jose, California-based provider of risk analytics for cyber security, raised $6m in funding.
The round was led by Susquehanna Investment Group and other investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand sales territories and teams, develop channel partners (currently it has more than 100 active channel partners, including security value added resellers, system integrators, and managed security service providers in more than 30 countries), and add resources to support the customer base.
Led by Gidi Cohen, CEO, Skybox Security provides a comprehensive platform to automate security management processes such as vulnerability and threat management and network security management.
It is used by organizations in Financial Services, Government, Energy, Defense, Retail, and Telecommunications.
