Shoptagr, a Tel Aviv, Isael-based developer of an online shopping tool that tracks changing prices on the fashion items, completed a pre-seed funding round of undisclosed amount.
Backers included Wadi Ventures and other private angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations.
Led by CEO and Co-Founder Jonathan Friedman, Shoptagr allows users to download a widget to their browsers and click to the +TAG button to save the an item they like to their list. the tool will then track the product and inform users when it’s available on sale in size and color.
It features Pinterest-style tiles and lets users organize items into several categories.
Shoptagr will serve retailers such as Asos, Bloomingdales, Net-A-Porter, Shopbop and Nordstrom.
