Robin Software B.V., an Arnhem, The Netherlands-based provider of a customer service app for web stores, raised $1m in a second seed funding round.
The investment came from Batman B.V. – the newly formed investment firm owned by Orbys Ventures and Jan-Willem Tusveld.
The company will use the funds to continue to scale international marketing activities and accelerate the product roadmap.
Founded in 2011 by Patrick Speijers, CEO, Robin is a customer service solution designed and developed for small web store teams and individual merchants to build conversions, increase customer retention and generate more positive word of mouth. It integrates with leading e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, SEOshop and Magento to enrich the customer service dashboard with order, shipping and billing info.
The company, which currently serves about 500 active web stores, expects to triple its active user base by the end of Q2 2014.
