According to Rude Baguette, Mindie, a Paris, France-based music video startup, raised $1.2m in funding.
Backers included SV Angel, David Tisch, Dave Morin and Slow Ventures, Lower Case Ventures, CrunchFund, Betaworks, Pete Cashmore, Troy Carter, Chris Howard and Cashmere Entertainment, and some angels.
Co-founded by Stanislas Coppin, Clément Raffenoux, Simon Corsin and Grégoire Henrion, Mindie allows users to create, record and share a 7-second video and back it with an iTunes track preview.
The app, which launched in October of last year, is available on the App Store (here).
