Kemesa Acquires Online Password Manager Passpack

passpackSalt lake City, UT-based Kemesa acquired online password manager Passpack.

The amount of the transaction, which was finalized in December 2013, was not disclosed. Following the closing, the combined companies will go forward together under the name Passpack Inc.
Kemesa Password Manager will be shut down and future product development will be focused on the Passpack password manager, which was created by co-founders Francesco Sullo (photo) and Tara Kelly.

sulloItaly-based Passpack allows users to make and store passwords in a single, organized list, then access them from anywhere leaving no traces on the computer. It also features secure collaboration tools that allow users to make, send, share or provision passwords to team members, clients and partners.
Investors in the company included Zernike Meta Ventures, a consortium managed by Italian Angels for Growth and Fondo Ingenium Emilia Romagna.
