Heyday Launches with $2M in Seed Funding

heydayHeyday, a San Francisco, CA-based creator of a photo journal app for the iOS platform, has just launched with $2m in seed funding.

According to PeHub (read here), the funds were raised in July 2012.

Backers included CrunchFundGoogle Ventures, TriplePoint Capital, Spark CapitalSV Angel and angels Keith Rabois, Shervin PishevarMatt Ocko, Garry TanKevin Chou, Robin ChanJoel PoloneyEric RiesAmitt Mahajan, David SpectorSaad KhanBen Narasin, Charles Moldow and Roy Sehgal.

Co-founded by Siqi Chen, CEO, Alex Le, vice president of product, Heyday transforms all of the memories, places, and people already on the iPhone or iPod touch, and crafts them into a journal that gives users a way to rediscover memories. It features more than 50 collage layouts and 18 photo filters.
