GutCheck, a Denver, CO-based agile market research company, closed a $4m round of funding.
Backers included Icon Venture Partners and existing investors Grotech Ventures, which had led a Series B round of $4M in June 2013 (read here), Crawley Ventures, Highway 12 Ventures and Village Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Icon Venture Partners’ Jeff Hinck, joined GutCheck’s board of directors
The company intends to use the funds to continue sales, marketing and product development expansion.
Led by CEO Matt Warta, GutCheck provides an on-demand solution that enables researchers, marketers, brand managers, and product managers at both corporations and agencies to conduct research on Internet at any stage of the customer or product lifecycle having immediate insights from specific consumer segments.
Clients include Subway, Logitech, The Home Depot, P&G, Hallmark, Intel, Symantec, etc.
