EVNTLIVE, a Redwood City, CA-based digital concert venue, has been acquired by Yahoo! (Nasdaqq: YHOO)
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Following the deal, the team will join Yahoo’s video team and the service will no longer be available.
Led by Judy Estrin (CEO), Alex Beckman (CCO), Jonathan Beckman (VP), and David Carrico (CMO), EVNTLIVE provides users with the ability to watch live and on-demand concerts, switch camera angles, view interviews and clips from artists, buy music, and chat with others.
Launched in beta in April 2013, EVNTLIVE has live streamed hundreds of performances to fans all over the world.
