Wildflower Health Closes $1.7M Series A Financing

wildflower 18Wildflower Health, a San Francisco, CA-based maker of mobile maternity program Due Date Plus, closed a $1.7m Series A financing.

Backers included KMG Capital Partners, Cambia Health and HealthTech Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Tom Rodgers, the Director of Strategic Investments for Cambia Health, and Kerry Hicks, Vice Chairman and Partner of KMG Capital Partners, is joining Wildflower Health’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its mobile health offering to health plans, self-insured employers and Medicaid clients.

Founded in 2012 by CEO Leah Sparks and Kathy Bellevin, Wildflower Health provides Due Date Plus, a mobile maternity program that uses self-reported data to identify high-risk pregnancies and drive interventions by delivering customized tools and content and referring users to care management programs.
It is available on iOS and Android.

The company had secured seed funding in late 2012 through Rock Health.
